Volunteer

As the year progresses, we are often in need of help.  Parents are asked to complete 30 volunteer hours this year.  If you have more than one child you are asked to complete 40 volunteer hours.  You can receive extra volunteer hours if you attend parent meetings and trainings, donate uniforms, donate books, and/or refer students to our school.  Please see Ms. Ross in the office to get started. 

 

Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated:

  • Attend SAC/Parent University

  • Attend Behavior Training

  • Field Trip chaperone

  • Library assistance

  • Assist in classroom 

  • Carpool Assistance

  • Make photocopies

  • Cafeteria Assistance

  • Donations

    • Donate items for the class (dry erase markers (thin), pencils, notebook paper, crayons/markers, copy paper)

    • Donate gently used uniforms

    • Donate good condition story/chapter books to classroom teachers

  • Career Day presenter

  • Multicultural Day assistance

  • Field Day assistance

  • Helping the student government association

  • Sports Banquet assistance

  • Chaperones for the 8th grade promotion dance/prom

  • Refer students to our school (new students must attend our Somerset)

  • Sponsor a sport or club or coach a sport
