Dress Down

If students pay $2.00 they can wear regular school clothes.  If students don’t want to dress down they must wear the Somerset uniform. The students who dress down and don't pay the $2 will receive a uniform violation.

 

First Friday Breakfast

On the First Friday of the month the administrative staff provides coffee and donuts on the school curb while parents drop of their kids.

 

Parent Behavior Training

This training not only helps parents learn strategies for common behavior concerns, parents also learn ways to help prepare their children for the demands of the 21st century.  

 

SAC/Parent University

SAC is an abbreviation for School Advisory Council.  The SAC offers parents and community stakeholders a chance to provide feedback and suggestions on school programs and activities.  The Parent University immediately follows the SAC meeting.  The Parent University is free parent training.

 

Spirit Day

On Spirit Day students can wear the orange Spirit T-shirt with their uniform bottoms or jeans.

 

Student of the Month Ceremony

Every month one student in the class is picked to receive the Student of the Month Award.  Each month has a different characteristic (ex: self control, citizenship, etc.)
